Announcing:
The Pa’lante Pause

Pa’lante Pauses are intentionally curated live experiences of healing and restoration where attendees will have a uniquely supported opportunity to create a personalized path toward resistance that is not at odds with wholeness. In breathtakingly beautiful natural surroundings, we will center the experiences of historically marginalized people while integrating a variety of somatic and energy practices. Our time together will be unapologetically anchored in abundance, spaciousness, rest, fellowship, reflection, humor, and joy.

Our first Pa’lante Pause experiences are explicitly and exclusively designed for leaders who, by virtue of their personal identities, face disproportionate stressors and threats in the current national political context.

Pa’lante Pause:
Queer Leaders Edition

May 26-28, 2025 | Lone Rock Retreat, CO
Exclusively for leaders who identify as Trans, Nonbinary, Genderqueer and/or LGBTQIA+

October 21-24, 2025 | Alderbrook Resort & Spa, WA
Exclusively for leaders who identify as Black, Brown, Indigenous, and/or People of Color

Our time together will be structured around the concepts of rest, recovery, and planning for reintegration with our lives back home. We will invite reflection and connection with ourselves, with others, and with nature through guided meditation & visualizations, journaling prompts, firepit s’mores, opening and closing rituals, a free clothing swap for those interested in updating or trying new options in their wardrobe, a guided forest meditation and an opportunity to experience our bodies in shifting temperatures culminating in an optional cold plunge.

Pa’lante Pause:
BIPOC Leaders Edition

Our time together will be structured around the concepts of coming together in reunion (no strangers here!), rest, recovery, and planning for reintegration with our lives back home. Each day will be infused with invitations to reflect and connect with ourselves, with others, and with nature through Yin Yoga practice, guided meditations and visualizations, journaling prompts, firepit s’mores, karaoke, a private yacht ride to a waterfront dinner, a supported silent forest walking meditation, and an opportunity to experience our bodies in shifting temperatures culminating in an optional cold plunge in the Hood Canal.

We can’t wait to see you.
